Limiting distance

I need help limiting piston stroke between 0-40mm. File is attached. I tried to much from the help menu but I could not get it properly.

20.4.1.0 version. The file contains just a Festo ADN type pneumatic piston. step version is attached.

The software version is too high. I'm using version 20.1

No it is not. Piston rod does not move between 0-40mm. I just want to limit the piston rod movement between 0-40mm when I want to position it.

When you do the animation, double click the variable. You'll see the movement.
